IXL.com - IXL Learning, Inc.

This is a great website that students can work on specific standards by grade level. The website is divided into subject matter. Under each subject matter the standards are avaliable for the students to work on and master. The website is for each state that uses the the state standards. At the bottom of the webpage you can choice which state you want to use. The website also keeps up with the standards and lets you know if the students have mastered the standard. This website does have a fee for using it. There is a yearly fee of $79.00 or a monthly fee of $9.95. However, you can contact them for a classroom quote. I think this would be a very helpful website for students.

education.com

This website is great for young students. The games are great for phonics, simple math, and sight word games. There are so many choices of games and the games go along with the state standards. The website offers worksheets and activities that teachers can use that go along with the games online. This website is a free source for the classroom or for extra practice at home.

brainpop.com

My daughter has used brain pop at school and loves it, she talks about it all the time. So I would say that it would be a great website for the classroom. Anytime you can get  your students excited and talking about learning its a great thing. They have several activities the students can participate in. The website offers movies, games, quizzes, and activities that cover all the subject areas. These activites are also aligned with state standards. This website does charge a fee to access their information. It is a yearly fee of $99.00 or a monthly fee of $9.45.

abcmouse.com

This is a major resource for kindergarten classrooms. The students love learning through the online classroom. This website is for every young students because of its content. The students work on numbers, letters, animals, and sounds. It keeps record of their progress so you can see how they are doing on the website. The students will love the bright colors and fun characters of this website. The way it is set up the students will feel like they are just playing, but they are also learning. The website has a fee of $7.95 a month, sometimes they run specials on their rates.

gonoddle.com

This is an awesome webstie for the classroom, and its FREE!! This is an active website that teacher can use to let their students move and release some energy. Those crazy days when the students are loud and active, teachers can turn on gonoodle and excerise their bodies. That way they are ready to learn. It can also be used to rest and relax using yoga for your students. This is a website that I will use all the time in my classroom.
